Biography

Jonathan R. Bronley is the owner of Bronley Law, PLLC, and he is licensed to practice law in Virginia. Jonathan's primary areas of focus are complex trust and estate litigation, probate and estate administration, representation of executors and other fiduciaries, representation of heirs and beneficiaries, estate planning, guardianship proceedings, capacity and elder care issues, and proceedings before the Offices of the Commissioners of Accounts. Prior to entering private practice, Jonathan had the unique experience of serving as a law clerk, then Staff attorney, for the Honorable John H. Rust, Jr., Commissioner of Accounts for Fairfax County, which allowed him to observe and aid in the decisions of hundreds of commissioner hearings. Jonathan also represents and advises individuals, businesses and institutions who are injured, wronged, taken advantage of, or otherwise find themselves in need of representation or advice. Jonathan regularly appears in court on his clients' behalf and he is routinely appointed by local judges to serve as Guardian ad litem to protect the interest of incapacitated adults, infants, and individuals with disabilities.

Jonathan earned his Juris Doctorate degree from George Mason School of Law in Virginia in 2009 and he received a B.S. in Finance and Business Management from the State University of New York at Albany in 2006 where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Jonathan is admitted to practice in all Virginia State Courts, the infamous "rocket docket", otherwise known as the Federal Eastern District Court of Virginia, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association and he served as co-chair of its Trusts and Estates section from 2013-2015.
