Biography

Jonathan S. Moore is a partner in the firm who concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, and has represented both the government and private contractors in HRS Chapter 103D procurement hearings and subsequent appeals. Mr. Moore has also represented developers, financial institutions and major manufacturers in environmental compliance matters, regulatory and zoning issues, and contractual disputes.

Education

Mr. Moore graduated magna cum laude from Tulane Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2007. He was a member of the Moot Court Board, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Mr. Moore received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in American Common Law Property, International Environmental Law, and Toxic Tort Litigation Practice. In his upper-level Contracts seminar, Mr. Moore’s paper on the use of mathematical formal methods in software development contracts was selected as the best in the class.

Prior Employment

Before entering law school, Mr. Moore lived for three years in Hsinchu, Taiwan, where he studied Mandarin Chinese, taught kindergarten and elementary school, and owned a Mexican restaurant.
