Jonathan Stein brings a wealth of knowledge to the firm’s Civil Litigation practice, having advocated for clients before state and federal courts in Colorado, New York, and Tennessee.

While self-assured and effective in the courtroom, Jonathan utilizes alternative dispute resolutions, such as mediation and arbitration, to amicably resolve conflicts and craft durable settlement agreements when possible. Furthermore, Jonathan’s certification as a mediator strengthens his expertise in facilitating successful negotiations.

Representative Matters:

• Copyright infringement – Settled a copyright claim for financial software wrongfully used by the creator’s former business partner
• Unjust enrichment – Reached an amicable settlement in a real property dispute after the only party on the mortgage tried to keep all of the sales proceeds
• Breach of contract – Resolved a case where a bed and breakfast owner wrongly ended a guest’s extended stay
• Contested will – Represented the executor of an estate and defeated the widow’s omitted spouse claim
