Jonathon Ibarra is senior counsel in WSHB's Chicago, Illinois, office. His practice is concentrated on the defense of contractors, trucking companies, and business owners in construction, complex torts, product liability, transportation and commercial matters in both federal and state courts. He also handles labor and employment matters, cybersecurity and data privacy matters, including breach response cases, and state/federal enforcement of data privacy statutes including litigation arising out of the Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). Additionally, he enjoys extensive experience in subrogation claims from pre-suit negotiation through trial. Jonathon's previous experience includes working as an Assistant Attorney General for the Illinois Attorney General’s Office.
Jonathon graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with degrees in political science and sociology. He earned his law degree from the Northern Illinois University College of Law.
