Jordan A. Phelps

Attorney Jordan Phelps joined The Law Office of Kathleen P. Ryder in 2012 and became a partner in 2017, when the firm became Ryder & Phelps, P.C. Licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, he leads the firm’s growing New Hampshire practice and focuses his work primarily on domestic relations matters. Jordan graduated with honors from Merrimack College in 2008 and earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2012. While in law school, he was admitted to the Rehnquist Inn Chapter of Phi Delta Phi and stayed involved in mentoring through the Merrimack College Pre-Law Society. In practice, Jordan handles a wide range of family law cases, including divorce, paternity actions, contempt matters, modifications, and restraining orders. He is also regularly appointed by judges to serve as a guardian ad litem and special master, roles that reflect the trust courts place in his judgment and professionalism. Jordan volunteers his time through programs like Lawyer for the Day in the Middlesex Probate and Family Court and speaks at the Lowell Fatherhood program. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Kimi Nichols Center, supporting adults with developmental disabilities. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, running, boating, hunting, cheering on the Boston Red Sox, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
