Biography

Jordan S. Lewis represents clients with respect to the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and disposition of commercial properties throughout the United States. His practice includes the representation of lenders and borrowers in connection with various types of secured financings and credit facilities, as well as loan workouts, the purchase and sale of nonperforming loans and asset management of distressed debt.

Jordan also represents developers/sponsors, investors, and their partners in the formation and negotiation of joint ventures and partnerships.

Jordan has significant experience representing sellers, purchasers and lenders with respect to the sale, acquisition and financing of economic development projects throughout the State of Georgia that are subject to tax-exempt bond financing structures.

Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Jordan was in-house counsel for a Manhattan-based real estate investment company listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
