EXPERIENCEJordyn Hawk is an associate attorney in the firm’s medical malpractice defense group. She focuses primarily on the defense of health systems and healthcare providers of all specialties from initial investigation through trial. Ms. Hawk also has experience defending claims of alleged malpractice and negligence against emergency medical technicians and handling appellate matters in the Michigan Court of Appeals.
Ms. Hawk graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she focused her education on healthcare law. During her time in law school, she participated in the Milton A. Kramer Health and Human Trafficking Clinic, where she engaged in comprehensive legal advocacy on behalf of survivors of human trafficking and worked alongside health care and social work professionals to address the civil legal needs that affected the health of her clients. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Hawk earned her Bachelor of Arts in political science from Oakland University.
