Biography

Jorge Velasco focuses his practice on corporate law and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, as well as financings. He has advised local and international companies on restructuring processes, acquisitions, strategic alliances, and corporate governance.

In addition, he has deep experience in tax law, advising domestic and international companies, applying treaties to avoid double taxation and different local regulations, and has been involved in handling audit procedures carried out before Mexican tax authorities, among other proceedings.
