Biography

Ms. Sanchez has served as a Miami-based Associate at Walton, Lantaff, Schroeder & Carson, LLP since 2023. Ms. Sanchez earned her Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. She later received her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where she achieved Dean’s List distinction for four semesters. During law school, Ms. Sanchez spent her time serving as a certified legal intern at the University’s Children and Families Legal Clinic, playing a key role in facilitating fair outcomes for indigent clients.

Ms. Sanchez’s legal skill and professionalism were recently recognized with the Rising Star honor selected by Super Lawyers - a distinction reserved for only the top 2.5% of young attorneys in Florida, as determined by colleagues and evaluators. Ms. Sanchez’s practice focuses on first-party property defense, workers’ compensation and insurance defense litigation. Of Nicaraguan and Cuban descent, she is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Inspired by relatives with legal careers and affirmed through a lifelong love for true crime analysis, trial observation and hands-on legal service work, Ms. Sanchez’s draw to the law is as authentic as it is lasting.
