Biography

Jose Rodriguez’s academic journey began at Brigham Young University, where he demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence and graduated with University Honors. Following his undergraduate success, he attended the University of Miami School of Law to pursue his Juris Doctor. During his time in law school, Jose was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient and graduated cum laude. He focused his studies on transactional law and actively participated in the Litigation Skills Program, building a solid foundation for his future in the courtroom.

While still a student, Jose gained an invaluable perspective on the judicial process by serving as a judicial intern for Judge Lindsey on the Third District Court of Appeals. This experience provided him with unique insights into how legal arguments are evaluated from the bench, which he now applies to his practical approach to advocacy. This background in both high-level academic study and hands-on judicial observation allowed him to enter the legal field with a broad-based understanding of complex litigation and a strategic mindset.

Today, Jose serves as a Pre-Suit Maritime Attorney at the Morgan & Morgan office in Miami. He specializes in maritime law and litigation, where he is dedicated to helping clients navigate the specific challenges of the maritime industry with diligence and compassion. Known for his approachable personality and focused advocacy, Jose strives to provide every client with the strategic support they need to achieve a favorable outcome during the early stages of their legal journey.
