Biography

Jose Emilio Ceron Guevara focuses his practice on tax consulting and planning. He has advised both national and multinational companies engaged in various industries and sectors regarding a wide range of tax transactions and matters, including corporate group restructurings, application of double-taxation treaties, issuance of tax opinions, handling of audit procedures conducted by the Mexican tax authorities, and the submission of various tax filings. Additionally, he has experience advising individuals on wealth management matters from a Mexican tax perspective regarding different types of investments, both domestic and foreign.

Additionally, Emilio has experience representing clients in tax dispute matters, through the preparation of legal arguments and the drafting and filing of lawsuits. Furthermore, he has experience as an in-house corporate attorney for a multinational company, where he focuses on negotiating and drafting various contracts, such as service agreements with suppliers, as well as preparing diverse corporate documentation.
