Joseph Stewart’s practice areas include complex commercial litigation, commercial transactions, public utility, land use, and various administrative and governmental issues. He joined the firm in 1999.
Education
Mr. Stewart received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994 from the University of Oregon, where he majored in Political Science. Mr. Stewart was one of only ten members of the School of Political Science selected to participate in the Senior Seminar Program. Mr. Stewart earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Oregon School of Law, in Eugene, Oregon. While at Oregon School of Law, he received the Statement of Completion for Studies of Intellectual Property from the University of Oregon Intellectual Property Law Program.

Mr. Stewart is an active member of the Hawaii community. He was a member of the 2006 class of the Pacific Century Fellows. Additionally, he is a director in the Hawaii chapter of the University of Oregon Alumni Association.
