Biography

Joseph J. Accurso has over seven years of experience in the defense of personal injury and property damage claims, with a focus on high exposure New York Labor Law claims against owners, developers, and general contractors.

Joseph defends some of the biggest names in New York City real estate in construction site accidents as well as property damage claims. He handles cases from pre-litigation investigation through resolution.

With an unwavering commitment to his cases, Joseph represents clients in all phases of litigation with an emphasis on early investigations and risk transfers. His pursuit of a proactive defense and collaborative Workers’ Compensation defense strategy enables him to guide clients by offering practical strategies throughout the course of litigation to obtain the best possible resolution.

Prior to joining London Fischer, Joseph worked for a New York City regulatory and licensing agency. In this role, he worked in tandem with former NYPD detectives pursuing leads on questionable business practices in the construction, demolition and carting industries.
