Biography

Joe, born in Calumet City, Illinois, is a 2003 graduate of Wabash College, Crawfordsville, Indiana, and received both his J.D. and LL.M. (Master of Laws in Commercial Real Estate) degrees from The John Marshall Law School, in Chicago, Illinois. He joined Kelly Law Offices in 2005 as a law clerk and has remained with the firm after his admission to the Illinois Bar in November 2007 and Indiana Bar in 2009.

His practice encompasses not only real estate and transactional matters, including purchase and sale, development, landlord/tenant disputes, zoning, construction defect, and lien claims, but also many of the firm's litigation matters, including commercial, motorcycle, automobile, and personal injury cases.

Joe counsels his clients not only on the legal merits of their claims but the human aspects of how a claim can impact a client's life, business, and community. He looks not only at the immediate impact but the bigger picture of a decision as well.
