Biography

Joseph J. Longo is an Associate in the Labor & Employment Practice group in our Philadelphia, office where his practice focuses upon representing both public and private employers in the many aspects of employment litigation, including matters involving discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, reasonable accommodation, and breach of contract claims. Joseph also has experience in counseling employers regarding the drafting of policies, handbooks, and employment-related agreements, as well as in preparation of audits of such policies and agreements, to ensure compliance with state and federal laws while also tailoring same to suit the client’s specific business needs.

Joseph earned his law degree from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University, where he took part in the school’s renowned Integrated Trial Advocacy Program. While in law school, Joseph worked for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, under Administrative Judge Dawn M. Edge, through an experiential Practicum. Joseph also earned litigation experience through a Law Clerk position with our firm held over the course of his time in law school.

Prior to law school, Joseph graduated cum laude from Pennsylvania State University with a major in Energy, Business and Finance.
