Biography

Joseph Leathem Leahy is a dedicated trial attorney specializing in premises liability at Morgan & Morgan’s Manhattan office. A graduate of Amherst College in 2010, Joseph went on to earn his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 2015. His strong academic background laid the foundation for his commitment to justice and advocacy.

Joseph began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney, where he gained valuable courtroom experience and a steadfast dedication to seeking justice for crime victims. His time as a prosecutor honed his trial skills and reinforced his passion for fighting on behalf of those in need.

Building on his prosecutorial experience, Joseph transitioned to roles as both outside and in-house counsel for major insurance companies. This work provided him with a unique understanding of the tactics and strategies used by insurers. Now at Morgan & Morgan, Joseph leverages his comprehensive knowledge of defense strategies to advocate for his clients, ensuring they receive the justice and compensation they deserve.
