Joe earned a B.S. in Public Relations from Syracuse University in 1981.He furthered his education at Syracuse University and obtained both a M.S. in Accounting and a Juris Doctor in 1986.

During his time in law school, Joe was an active member of the Moot Court Board and served as its Chair from 1984 to 1985.He received recognition for his exceptional performance and was awarded the prestigious Order of the Barristers.Joe also served as the Moot Court Advisor to the University's Vice Chancellor, where he worked extensively with the undergraduate Constitutional Law program.Additionally, he gained research experience as a Research Assistant for the Law and Public Policy Department of the business school.

Teaching and Lecturing:
