Joseph C. Rome, a distinguished attorney, embarked on his legal
journey by completing his undergraduate studies at Washington State
University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999.
Subsequently, he earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Western New
England College School of Law in 2005.
Post law school,
Joseph's dedication to the legal profession led him to obtain
memberships with both the Washington State and Hawaii State Bar
Associations. Relocating to Maui in 2006, he immersed himself in
legal practice at the Hawaii State Public Defender’s Office. Here,
Joseph managed a substantial caseload, including jury trials,
garnering extensive legal acumen and practical experience.
In 2009, driven
by his commitment to aiding individuals harmed by the negligence of
others, Joseph established his private practice. Focusing on
advocating for personal injury victims, he relentlessly pursues just
compensation for his clients, drawing from his firsthand
understanding of their plight, having experienced injury himself in a
multiple car collision.
Beyond his legal
practice, Joseph finds solace in family time and embracing the scenic
vistas of the Pacific Northwest. His pursuit of legal excellence led
him to the esteemed Trial Lawyer College, where he studied under the
tutelage of renowned trial lawyer Gerry Spence in 2011.
Joseph's
professional journey is further enriched by a spectrum of training
and certifications, including participation in the NCDD Summer
Session at Harvard Law and graduation from the Gerry Spence Trial
Lawyer’s College. He also possesses skills in Forensic Toxicology
for Attorneys.
An esteemed
member of various legal associations, Joseph's accolades include
recognition as one of the National Trial Lawyers' 40 under 40 and
consecutive listings as a Super Lawyer in Washington Rising Stars for
2013, 2014, and 2015. He holds memberships with the Washington State
Bar, Hawaii State Bar, American Bar Association, King County Bar
Association, and is admitted to practice before the United States
District Courts for the District of Hawaii and Western Washington.
