Biography

Joe Swist is a skilled trial attorney in the Philadelphia Office who represents individuals in serious injury and wrongful death cases, including construction accidents, premises liability matters, negligent security incidents, and dog bite cases.

Since 2020, Joe has secured over $20,000,000.00 for his clients, which include a 1.25-million-dollar settlement for his client who slipped on ice, a million dollar resolution for his client that was injured while using a defective ladder, a $950,000 resolution for his client who fell through a trapdoor, and a full policy tender for his client that suffered serious injuries after sitting on a defective barstool.

Joe received his Bachelor’s Degree from Hobart College in 2012 and his Juris Doctorate from Notre Dame Law School in 2015. Since 2019, Joe has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Rising Star, an honor that only 2.5 percent of lawyers under the age of 40.

Joe is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Joe is a member of the Notre Dame Law Club of Philadelphia. He is also a member of The Hill School Alumni Chapter based out of Pottstown, PA.
