He authored a series of articles on starting new technology companies for the Wisconsin Technology Network in 2007-08. He has been named Wisconsin Super Lawyer 2005-2015; The Best Lawyers in America 2015 and Madison Magazine has consistently named him as one of Madison's leading business attorneys. In 2005 and 1993, the Wisconsin Small Business Administration named him the Wisconsin Small Business Advocate. In 2004, St. Norbert College named him a distinguished alumnus. In 2015, he was named a Leader in the Law by Wisconsin Law Journal.
