Biography

Josh Cergas joined Chadwick Washington’s Fairfax office as an associate attorney in July 2024. He provides general counseling and representation to community associations in a variety of contexts ranging from corporate and organizational governance to contract interpretation and negotiation.

Prior to joining the firm, Josh worked at both small firms and government agencies including the Department of Justice, Small Business Administration, and Transportation Security Administration. During law school, he was a member of the Public Contract Law Journal, vice president of the Government Contracts Student Association, and the Student Bar Association’s director of wellness.

In addition to his legal practice, Josh is a gigging classical guitarist and electric bassist. He can be found performing in a variety of ensembles throughout the DMV.
