Biography

Joshua Andrew Brensel is an Associate in the firm's West Palm Beach office. He practices in the areas of insurance defense litigation, vehicle negligence, and premises liability.

Mr. Brensel graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 2025, where he was a Captain in their award-winning Dispute Resolution Board, competing in national and international negotiation competitions. He was an Associate of the Stetson Business Law Review and achieved the highest write-on score. Mr. Brensel was also the recipient of the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award, the Yetta & Ben Podgor JLSA Student Award, and was named to the National Order of Barristers for his trial advocacy skills.

Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Brensel was a Federal Judicial Extern at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida in Tampa, working under the Honorable Magistrate Judge Anthony Porcelli. He also interned at the Palm Beach County Public Defender's Office.

Mr. Brensel was born and raised in Palm Beach County, FL, and his hobbies include watching baseball, learning new languages, traveling, and playing games with friends.
