Joshua A. Plaxen

Joshua A. Plaxen joined Plaxen & Adler, P.A. in December 2015. Prior to joining the firm, Joshua served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable William V. Tucker for the Circuit Court of Howard County from August 2012 through September 2013. During his time as a law clerk, Joshua contributed to judicial opinions, observed numerous trials for different types of legal matters, and developed an astute understanding of Maryland civil procedure. After clerking, Joshua worked for the University of Maryland, Baltimore where he drafted and negotiated Clinical Trial Agreements and Research Agreements with large, publicly traded companies and small startup companies.

Joshua graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, and graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2012 magna cum laude. He was also inducted into the Heuisler Honor Society for finishing in the top ten percent of his class. During law school, Joshua served on the Executive Board of the University of Baltimore Law Review. As a lifelong resident of the Howard County and Baltimore area, Joshua is committed to fighting for the rights of Maryland residents.
