Joshua B. Abromovitz: Attorney with Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine, P.C.

Biography

Mr. Abromovitz is a Phoenix native and passionate advocate who strives to achieve the best possible outcome for each of his clients. He dedicates his practice to representing those who have suffered complicated injuries due to the negligence and wrongful acts of businesses, corporations, and individuals, with a focus on medical malpractice matters and cases regarding catastrophic injuries and/or wrongful death.

Prior to joining Burg Simpson, Mr. Abromovitz spent several years representing large companies and insurance carriers on a variety of personal injury, civil and commercial litigation matters. This experience provided Josh with a unique perspective and invaluable insight into how claims are defended and litigated on a large-scale basis. As such, he is skilled in anticipating defense arguments and eliminating them before they can gain traction.

Before attending law school, Mr. Abromovitz spent over ten years as an actor and entertainer in New York City where he honed his storytelling skills on both the stage and screen. This training and experience provided Josh with the ability to craft and deliver highly detailed narratives that tell your story in the most effective and compelling way possible. Given his training, experience, and passion for storytelling, becoming a legal advocate and trial attorney was the first and only option for Josh.

After graduating from Arizona State University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, Mr. Abromovitz obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. As a member of the University of Denver’s esteemed National Trial Team, Josh was chosen as the Best Overall Advocate at the 2015 Georgetown Invitational, an exclusive mock trial tournament pitting the nation’s top Law School Trial Advocacy programs against each other. During Law School, Mr. Abromovitz also had the pleasure of interning for Chief Justice Brian D. Boatright at the Colorado Supreme Court and the Honorable Ann Gail Meinster in the First Judicial District, Arapahoe County, Colorado.

When not practicing law, Mr. Abromovitz enjoys spending time with his family, writing, studying music and history, and immersing himself in the local artistic community.
