Joshua Cole Wheeler

I practice family law in King and Snohomish Counties, focusing on divorce, parenting/custody, child support, spousal support, and the division of assets, including complex and high net worth estates.  I have done significant work in the preparation and litigation of Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs), including their enforcement and amendment.  I have done significant work on issues involving business interests, taxes, and retirement accounts, and my colleagues have turned to me to confer about the same.     I've volunteered with the KCBA Local Family Law Legal Clinic since 2014 and have volunteered with KCBA to mentor young attorneys working on domestic violence cases.  I believe it's important as attorneys that we donate our time in an effort to extend community access to legal services.     When I'm not lawyering, I like to do all of the wonderful outdoor activities available to us in Washington, specifically skiing, backpacking, climbing, hiking, and kayaking.  I have a gardening habit that borders on a preoccupation.  Cooking rounds out the list.
