Biography

Partner/shareholder Joshua D. Sherman, Esq., is a lifelong resident of Salem County, having graduated from Woodstown High School, the University of Delaware, and Widener School of Law, where his legal education included an emphasis on trial advocacy. Now that he is a partner in the law firm founded by his father, Josh enjoys working with and representing friends, neighbors and other members of the community where he was born and raised. Immediately after passing the New Jersey and Pennsylvania bar exams and being admitted to the practice of law in both states, he joined Sherman Law Offices, having interned at the firm throughout college and law school.

Josh is a member of the Salem County, Gloucester County, and New Jersey State Bar Associations, as well as the Salem County Chamber of Commerce. He routinely appears and tries cases in both Municipal and Superior Courts in Salem County and neighboring counties.

The effective practice of law today requires instantaneous access to and effective use of cutting-edge legal software and search engines, both in the office and in the courtroom. With his fresh perspective on the most recent trends and developments in the law, Josh has also been instrumental and energetic in bringing state-of-the-art technology to Sherman Law Offices, ensuring the firm's capabilities are on par with those of any large firm in the region.
