Biography

Joshua’s practice includes commercial litigation, real estate, municipal, corporate, liquor licensing, insurance, land use, planning and zoning. Joshua is an experienced trial lawyer having argued before juries in both New York City and Dutchess County where he achieved favorable verdicts on behalf of his clients.

The results-oriented approach followed by Joshua is highly valued by his clients who include insurers, municipalities, not-for- profits, corporations and individuals. Joshua currently serves as a board attorney for several municipal planning and zoning boards, as well as board attorney for a not-for- profit. He has conducted training for major insurers and corporations and served as a presenter for attorney continuing legal education classes.

Active in his native Dutchess County, Joshua served as a Chair of the Town of Washington Planning Board and Chair of the Town of Washington Comprehensive Plan Committee. He was also a member of the Town of Washington Wetlands Ordinance Committee where he helped draft a wetlands law. In 2009 Joshua was a recipient of the Greater Southern Dutchess Chamber of Commerce “Forty Under 40” award.
