Joshua Neuman seeks justice for clients harmed by defective products, pharmaceutical drugs, medical devices, and corporate negligence through complex litigation.
Joshua is a member of Motley Rice’s medical products litigation team. He represents people who allege paraquat, a toxic weedkiller, caused Parkinson’s disease and other neurological issues. Additionally, Joshua litigates for hundreds of plaintiffs who allege they were harmed by Monsanto’s herbicide Roundup .
Prior to joining Motley Rice, Joshua was a Partner at a large international law firm representing clients in a variety of litigation areas including pharmaceutical drugs and devices, consumer fraud, and harmful products. He also led the firm’s catastrophic injury department seeking justice for clients severely injured or killed due to corporate negligence and recklessness. Joshua served as a senior member of the team representing plaintiffs in In re Injectafer Products Liability Litigation as well as advancing litigation for people alleging harms by defective pressure cookers, EzriCare artificial tears, and UV gel manicure cases. He has experience on both sides of the aisle, having spent part of his earlier career as a defense lawyer in Philadelphia representing medical providers in professional liability actions. Joshua interned for the Honorable Judge Angelo J. Foglietta in the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, Court of Common Pleas and the Honorable Judge Mary K. White for the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Joshua frequently speaks about mass torts at conferences and events including moderating a seminar on the topic for the 2024 American Association for Justice conference, serving as a panelist for the Global Class Actions Symposium, and speaking at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.
