Biography

Joshua P. Friedman has built his career around one thing: helping creditors turn legal rights into real recovery. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995 and his J.D. from Loyola Law School Los Angeles in 2001. Before starting his own firm, he practiced at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP, gaining big-firm training that still shows in his disciplined, strategic approach. Today, his practice is focused exclusively on consumer and commercial debt collection and judgment enforcement. He’s also a recognized voice in the field, regularly teaching lawyers and professionals about collection and enforcement techniques through local bar programs and the National Business Institute. His work has been recognized with Southern California Super Lawyers or Rising Stars honors every year since 2009, and he has served in leadership roles with the California Creditors Bar Association and as president emeritus of the California Association of Judgment Professionals.
