Josh was born and raised in Gainesville, Georgia. He graduated from Gainesville High School, and he is a member of the Gainesville Jaycees. Josh is married to his wife Brittany. Josh and Brittany met while attending Marshall University where he graduated with a B.A. in Political Science. They have a daughter named Adalaide.
