Joshua Whitney

Open for Business
Joshua Whitney: Attorney with The Curran Firm, P.C.

Biography

After beginning his career in a variety of roles focused on supporting others, Josh transitioned into the legal profession to continue that mission on a broader scale. He earned a bachelor’s degree in social work and psychology in 2014, and then served as a Health Education Volunteer with the Peace Corps in The Gambia, West Africa. Upon returning to the United States, Josh worked as a mental health counselor in a psychiatric hospital and later administered Section 8 housing vouchers—experiences that deepened his understanding of the systemic barriers that often restrict people’s access to our justice system.

In 2025, Josh graduated with honors from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. He now represents clients in medical malpractice and personal injury matters with compassion, tenacity, and a deep understanding of how institutional failures can harm individuals and families. Josh is committed to helping clients rebuild and ensuring their voices are heard.
