Biography

Judith provides legal counsel in premises, automobile, and product liability matters. She has defended companies and individuals in cases involving slip and falls, motor vehicle accidents, and product design or defect claims. Her experience also includes handling commercial and interstate trucking cases representing transportation fleets, waste haulers, shuttle operators, and rental vehicle companies.

With more than 25 years of litigation and trial experience, Judith has defended property owners, managers, general contractors and commercial entities in premises liability matters that range from slip and falls to catastrophic personal injury and property damage cases. Additionally, she routinely handles personal injury matters related to auto liability and trucking and transportation on behalf of retail establishments, building owners, homeowners, drivers and businesses.

Judith works with each client to identify and implement a litigation strategy that best suits the specifics of their case. Her vast experience allows her to counsel clients on the most effective course of action, including resolving cases through settlement negotiations, mediation, arbitration or jury trial.

Judith has served as lead counsel in jury trials and binding arbitrations, yielding positive outcomes throughout the Eastern district of Pennsylvania. She has tried numerous Common Pleas arbitration cases in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. As a certified arbitrator in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Judith has served as both chairman and panelist for numerous Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas arbitration cases.

Significant Representative Matters: Summary judgment in premises liability case. Represented a fitness center/gym in case involving an injury to a player during a roller hockey game. Plaintiff alleged that there was a defect in the flooring which caused the plaintiff to fall. Plaintiff alleged a fractured ankle with pins and screws and a six month wage loss.
