Biography

Julia Simmons began her legal career in California in 2001 at one of the state’s most prestigious DUI and DMV defense firms. By 2008 she had become a certified law clerk, managing hundreds of DUI matters in an attorney capacity. Two years later, she launched her own practice focused on vehicle-related legal issues, including car accident injuries, multiple-offense DUI defense, and DMV/DOL hearings for negligent operator, medical, lapse of consciousness, and fraud cases. Admitted to the Washington bar in 2014, Ms. Simmons continues to defend criminal and DMV matters and handle personal injury claims arising from auto collisions. A private pilot and former high-alpine mountain guide, she often backpacking in the Olympic range. Over her career, she has litigated more than 20,000 DUI cases, including serious felony charges such as DUI with great bodily injury, DUI manslaughter, and DUI murder.
