Biography

Julianna Parks focuses her practice on commercial litigation and contracts. She provides general legal counsel, and tort and civil rights defense, to government entities and law enforcement agencies. A lifelong resident of North Louisiana, Julianna was valedictorian of her high school class and graduated magna cum laude from Louisiana State University in Shreveport in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication. She then attended Louisiana State University Law School, graduating near the top of her class in 2006 with Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Civil Law degrees. After completing law school, she returned to Shreveport and served as law clerk to United States District Judge Tom Stagg. Julianna practiced with the firm of Hargrove, Smelley, Strickland and Langley, PLC, for nine years, earning the position of Shareholder, before founding Langley Parks, LLC. Julianna we elected to her parish government, the Bossier Parish Police Jury, in 2021. She serves as a Commissioner with the Bossier Commission for Women and a mentor in the Commission's mentoring program for local high school seniors. She is a member of St. Jude where she s serves as a catechist for middle school students. Julianna has formerly served as President of the Board of Directors for the Gingerbread House Children’s Advocacy Center, as a Barrister in the Harry V. Booth Inn of Court, on the Senate of the Shreveport Bar Foundation's Krewe of Justinian, and has chaired multiple events for the Krewe.

She is a member of the Bossier Bar Association, the Louisiana Bar Association and the Bar Association of the United States Fifth Circuit. Julianna and her husband, Santi, also an attorney and judge, live in Bossier City with their two sons.
