Biography

Justin Allsop represents homebuilders, construction companies, and government entities in real estate transactions, land development, construction projects, and regulatory compliance matters. He previously served as division counsel for a publicly traded homebuilder’s Nevada operations and has worked with professional design services companies, construction management firms, and regional transportation authorities. His background includes experience in both private practice and as in-house counsel for water authorities.

Justin handles real estate transactions including land acquisition, development, and disposition for residential projects. He drafts purchase and sale agreements, land banking arrangements, joint development agreements for infrastructure projects, and homeowner association documents. His work includes special improvement district financing through municipal bonds, title review procedures, due diligence research, and contract negotiations. He manages compliance with state contractor boards, environmental protection departments, real estate licensing requirements, and municipal regulations.

Justin represents clients in construction matters involving hotel/casinos, sports arenas, stadiums, transportation projects, solar energy facilities, and industrial manufacturing projects. He drafts and negotiates design-build contracts, construction management agreements, performance contracts, commercial leases, power-purchase agreements, and engineering procurement contracts. He advises clients on claims analysis related to design defects and performance defaults, including coordination with experts for mediation and arbitration proceedings.

His practice includes environmental compliance matters at federal and state levels, environmental monitoring and reporting, and water rights issues.
