Justin P. Stalpes

Justin Stalpes graduated with High Honors from the University of Montana in 2009 and joined Beck, Amsden & Stalpes shortly after. He is admitted to practice in Montana state and federal courts, as well as the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, the Montana Supreme Court, and the United States Supreme Court.

Justin focuses on complex civil litigation in areas such as insurance disputes, class actions, catastrophic injuries, environmental contamination, medical malpractice, and product liability. He has secured tens of millions of dollars for his clients, including notable outcomes such as a $7.5 million recovery in Munderloh v. Avista and a $5.5 million recovery in the In re Selway Litigation. His appellate work includes cases like Christian v. Atlantic Richfield Co., which addressed contamination claims under the continuing tort doctrine.

In addition to his practice, Justin is a Board Member of the Montana Trial Lawyers Association and co-chairs its Amicus Committee. He also serves on the Gallatin Bar Association Board and has co-taught U.S. Constitutional Law at Montana State University.
