Biography

Justin Michael Van Cleave is an Associate in the firm's Tampa office practicing in general civil litigation.

Mr. Van Cleave earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Statistics from Florida State University in 2020. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2023. While in law school, he served as Executive Research Editor of the Florida Journal of International Law, was a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing I & II, and competed for the Florida Tax Moot Court team. In addition, he spent a Semester-in-Practice at the Supreme Court of Florida, worked in the Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Assistance Clinic, where he drafted significant portions of an amicus brief to the Supreme Court of the United States, worked at a boutique business litigation firm, externed at UF Health Shands Legal Services, and spent a summer at the Georgia State-wide Business Court in its first year of operation.
