Justine Case-Fitzgerald

Justine Case-Fitzgerald joined Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP in April 2024. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Case-Fitzgerald served as a Town Justice from 2016 until 2023. In her capacity as Town Justice, she was appointed to serve as an Accessible Magistrate for New York State Raise the Age Legislation and as a Virtual Arraignment Part Judge during the Coronavirus Pandemic.

BACKGROUND/EDUCATION

Ms. Case-Fitzgerald graduated summa cum laude from Albany Law School of Union University with her Juris Doctor. During law school, Ms. Case-Fitzgerald served as the Executive Editor-At-Large of the Albany Law Review, a teaching assistant for first-year Contracts, and an intern in the Community Economic and Development Clinic. Ms. Case-Fitzgerald was recognized as one of the Best Oral Advocates in the Karen C. McGovern Senior Prize Trials Competition and was a semi-finalist in the Domenick L. Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy Competition. Ms. Case-Fitzgerald also received the Siegel Scholarship and was inducted as a member of the Order of Barristers.

Prior to law school, Ms. Case-Fitzgerald received a Private Pilot Certificate before focusing her education on the Criminal Justice field, achieving a Doctor of Philosophy degree, Master of Philosophy degree, and Master of Science degree.

Originally from Johnstown, New York, Ms. Case-Fitzgerald currently resides in Saratoga County.
