Biography

Kaila Nix Means graduated from Oklahoma State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology while competing on the Women’s Equestrian Team. She also served on the Student Athletic Academic Committee. After her undergraduate studies, Kaila worked in the field of psychology, providing therapy for children with autism and other special needs. Inspired to pursue a legal career, she attended The University of Tulsa College of Law, where she was an active member of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity and the Board of Advocates. Kaila graduated with honors in community service.

In 2017, Kaila joined The Nix Law Firm and is licensed to practice law in Texas. Her practice primarily focuses on personal injury law. As the daughter of David Nix, the firm’s founder, Kaila was instilled with a deep commitment to justice from an early age. She now channels that commitment into her work as a trial lawyer, zealously advocating for her clients throughout every stage of litigation.
