Biography

Kaitlyn Schammel is an attorney in the Eckberg Lammers Labor & Employment group. She focuses her practice on counseling employers, both businesses and municipalities, on how to manage the complex web of laws and regulations to support their entities’ human resource needs within labor and employment law.

Kaitlyn joined Eckberg Lammers with previous law firm experience in advising businesses on employment law compliance including drafting a wide range of workplace agreements and policies. Her background also includes experience in-house at a Fortune 500 company within employment law and in labor law at the National Labor Relations Board.

Kaitlyn earned her J.D. from the University of St. Thomas, School of Law with a concentration in Organizational Ethics and Compliance, and a B.S.B in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, Carlson School of Management.

Kaitlyn enjoys cheering on Minnesota sports teams – especially the Gophers, Timberwolves, and the Twins. Kaitlyn also enjoys playing pickleball and trying new coffee shops in the Twin Cities.
