Biography

Kal began his legal career practicing insurance defence litigation for Ontario’s largest insurer. He has experience with both jury and non-jury trials.

Kal earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a double minor in Economics and Philosophy, from Queen’s University in 2006. Subsequent to graduating from Queen’s University, Kal earned a Canadian law degree from the University of Windsor, as well as an American law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. Kal was called to the Ontario bar in 2010.

Kal has a deep commitment to justice and a passion for empowering survivors of sexual abuse. Understanding the emotional and psychological challenges that come with pursuing legal action, Kal takes a trauma-informed approach to each case and offers personalized, client-centred representation aimed at securing justice and fair compensation for those who have suffered in silence.
