Biography

Kara B. Hendricks has a broad range of experience in litigating matters as well as working with companies to resolve disputes outside of the litigation context. Kara has a unique practice that focuses on commercial litigation, receivership law and education.

Kara is experienced representing businesses in a variety of matters including, contract disputes, partnership disputes, trademark infringement, litigating products liability matters, handling catastrophic injury cases, defending civil rights claims, litigating employment non-compete agreements, handling derivative suits, and resolving property and construction defect disputes. Kara also has in-depth experience representing receivers appointed in regulatory enforcement actions involving alleged Ponzi schemes as well as representing receivers in state court proceedings involving insolvent insurance companies. She also counsels charter schools and insurance clients regarding statutory and administrative issues and represents such clients in proceedings before Nevada regulatory bodies. In these roles Kara's practice focuses on identifying client priorities and working collaboratively with clients to address concerns and find solutions.

Prior to joining the firm, Kara served as General Counsel with the Nevada Insurance Guaranty Association. She also had a career in broadcast journalism.
