Kara Lattanzio

Since joining Hardin Thompson in June 2016, Kara Lattanzio has established herself as a knowledgeable advocate in employment law and insurance defense. Kara’s journey in the legal field is rooted in her education at Duquesne University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude in 2015. Her academic performance was exceptional, earning her three CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Trial Advocacy, Corporations, and Conflicts of Law. The faculty also honored her with the Aaron J. DeLuca Advocacy Award, and her membership in the Louis L. Manderino Honor Society highlights her natural talent for trial work. Even before she became an attorney, Kara was deeply involved in the Pittsburgh legal market, working as a law clerk for over two years in insurance defense and employment law. This early exposure allowed her to hit the ground running after graduation. Currently, she is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Federal District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Kara’s blend of high-level advocacy skills and practical, local experience allows her to navigate the intricacies of the law with confidence. She is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients, drawing on a career-long focus on litigation and defense.
