Biography

Kareem Aref is a lifetime advocate. Before practicing law, Mr. Aref was active in national movements around education, criminal justice, and social justice reforms. Mr. Aref joined the legal field as a civil rights and municipal law attorney with what was then Cota Cole and Huber LLP. He then joined the ranks of the San Bernardino County District Attorney's office. As a Deputy District Attorney, Mr. Aref handled all types of felony cases in addition to serving as a specialized Auto theft prosecutor. Mr. Aref also worked as Trial Counsel for Strategic Legal Practices APC working on plaintiff-side consumer protection cases. He has prepared and conducted innumerable cases for trial, hearings, and depositions in various areas of law and has successfully tried numerous jury trials to verdict. Kareem Aref is the attorney you can count on to skillfully defend your rights and fight your case. As a former Prosecutor, Mr. Aref has gained invaluable experience and insider knowledge of the system, developed professional relationships, and honed his legal skills to secure the best possible outcome for you.
