Biography

Karen Koshman lives in Calgary. She attended law school in Edmonton and was called to the Alberta Bar in 1991 and the Saskatchewan Bar in 2022. She began her career working in the area of insurance defence with a large private firm. Thereafter, she moved to Alberta Justice where she was general litigation counsel defending claims against the Province. With strong Western Canadian roots, Karen enjoys her role conducting questioning/discoveries, settlement negotiations and mediations for clients residing in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and British Columbia in addition to Alberta. Karen is committed to achieving the best possible result for her clients so they can move on to recovery and healing.

Karen’s interests include running, golfing, and spending time at the lake with her husband and two daughters.
