Biography

Kate Collins focuses her practice on general liability and commercial litigation. She represents a wide variety of defendants in State and Federal Court, acting as litigation counsel in insurance defense matters. Ms. Collins successfully defeated a Motion for Summary Judgment in federal court for a client who was sued by a major telecommunications company under the federal telecommunications act.

During law school, Ms. Collins worked as part of a team that filed amici briefs in the United States Supreme Court as well as the Ninth and Second Circuits. During her undergraduate studies, Ms. Collins worked for the United States Department of Treasury during the Bush and Obama Administrations.
