Biography

Katherine Fallas is dedicated to conveying clear solutions to her clients and tenaciously advocating for their position both in and out of the courtroom. Katherine provides concise, well-reasoned strategies and seeks to keep her clients well-informed throughout the litigation process. She utilizes her detail-oriented personality to rigorously investigate each unique claim she defends.

Katherine’s extensive experience includes not only defense of the transportation industry and general litigation, but she also engages in significant transactional work through mergers and acquisitions, advising local government on the development of policies related to land use, permitting, public works (including bidding and procurement disputes), and public records issues. She previously drafted legislation, ordinances, and resolutions related to government regulation of private property (namely, code enforcement and the maintenance of property nuisances); permitting and regulation of app-based shared mobility devices such as electric scooters; land use regulations of restaurants; and regulation of the delivery of alcoholic beverages through app-based food and beverage delivery companies.

Katherine was born and raised in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. She now resides in Mandeville, Louisiana with her husband and daughters. Outside of her law practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, attending New Orleans Saints games, reading, and painting.
