Biography

Katherine (Katie) Chlumsky joined Triplett Woolf Garretson’s civil litigation group in 2022 and is actively involved in the Firm’s insurance defense, contract dispute and employment claim matters. Before joining Triplett Woolf Garretson, Katie spent her first seven years of law practice working in Wichita as a general practice and family law practitioner.

Katie was born and raised in Marysville, Kansas. She graduated magna cum laude from Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas, with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Literary Studies. Katie received her juris doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2015. During law school, she was a member of the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy, serving as Senior Staff Articles Editor 2014-2015 and as a Staff Editor 2013-2014. She was also a member of the University of Kansas 2014-2015 Jessup International Law Moot Court Team.

Outside the office, Katie enjoys working in her garden, spending time with her children and husband outside, and on occasion playing golf or tennis.
