Biography

Attorney Kathleen Quinn is thrilled to join the ranks of Zetley Law Offices in an of-counsel capacity. She has decades of criminal defense experience in the state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.

Kathleen has litigated scores of jury trials with results including full acquittals in serious felony matters. She has litigated and won postconviction and appellate cases resulting in the vacation of convictions and the reductions of sentences. She has saved clients the stress of trial or appeal by winning dismissals through vigorous pretrial motion practice.

Kathleen received her B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and her law degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. As a lawyer, Kathleen attended the National Criminal Defense College in Macon, Georgia.

Kathleen has litigated in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals of Wisconsin, and in circuit and district courts all around Wisconsin.

She is a current member and former Board member of the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys for which she has been an invited speaker at continuing legal education seminars. She is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.

Away from work, Kathleen loves to hike, read, attend live music and theater, and spend time with her cherished nieces and nephews. She is an avid “Big” in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee
