Biography

Kate concentrates her practice on civil litigation, representing businesses and individuals in all manner of disputes with a focus on employment matters, business litigation, and general liability. Prior to joining Conn Kavanaugh, she gained broad litigation experience at a boutique firm where she primarily represented plaintiffs in general liability, motor vehicle accident, product liability, medical malpractice, dramshop, and nursing home negligence cases. Her experience also includes the defense of professionals in malpractice claims and disciplinary matters. In 2013 and 2014, Kate was named a “Rising Star” by the rating service Super Lawyers.

Kate graduated from Suffolk University Law School, and earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Wellesley College. During law school, she received the First Year Distinguished Brief Award for outstanding performance in legal writing. She is an active member of several local bar associations, as well as the Wellesley Lawyers Network. Kate previously served on the Civil Litigation Section Council of the Massachusetts Bar Association, as well as the General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Section Council.

In 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Kate has been selected as Massachusetts Rising Star by Law & Politics and the publishers of Boston Magazine.
